There’s really nothing you can do when a front-end loader’s coming at you at full speed–with bad intentions–unless you’re manning a pretty badass loader yourself, right? Well, at the very least, that allows you to put up a fight, which also something that shouldn’t have happened, to begin with. But I guess, when you’re in China, you might as well expect the “unexpected.”
In the video below, two rival construction firms engage in a free-for-all brawl using their mighty front-end loaders. Which probably turned out to be a lot messier and wilder than one would expect. In the clip, the two drivers of two front-end loaders were seen running their giant yellow machines against each other like a T-Rex taking on a Raptor. At one point, one of the loaders was finally able to knock the other over. Which should end the dispute, right? Apparently, no. That prompts the vanquished machine driver’s allies to come to his aid, trying to put the loader back on its wheels–conceivably so that it can carry on the battle.
Unfortunately, the other loaders weren’t able to lift their fallen comrade back up on its ‘wheels.’ And as far as the video goes, we have no idea how the whole incident ended. However, New York times did report that “some participants in the Sunday street battle in Xingtang County, in the Hebei provincial capital of Shijiazhuang, carried knives and pellet guns,” though, we definitely agree that the most surprising weapon out there was the towering construction equipment.
The spectacle drew a lot of attention online, with the video, quickly going viral across various social media sites. Nevertheless, the real concern should be directed to the continuous downfall of China’s construction sector, whose growth has been down by two-thirds from its peak just a decade ago.
